Care Assistant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Care Assistant to work within Central Bedford Council.

This position is a temporary Role for 9 months with the possibility to be extended and pays £11.79 (PAYE) to £14.45 (Umbrella) Per Hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and respecting dignity.
• Assist with medication administration under the direction of senior staff, ensuring adherence to prescribed medication schedules and protocols.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities to promote socialization and well-being.
• Assist residents with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as necessary, considering individual dietary preferences, nutritional needs, and any specific requirements.
• Maintain a clean and tidy living environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, and laundering residents’ clothing and linens.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and safeguarding procedures always.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: relevant qualifications for this role.

Experience: 2 years’ experience

Compliance: 3 years references. Enhanced DBS on the Update service.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
