Seven Social Care is looking for a Care Sector Workforce Development Officer at Central Bedfordshire Council paying  £20.17

The role:

  • Purpose Act as point of contact for the International Recruitment Programme
  • Support delivery of the wider recruitment and retention programmes
  • Engage and provide progress reports on key delivery areas.
  • Maintain a robust library of Project Documentation ?Support delivery of the Care Sector Workforce Strategy
  • Project Support
  • Provide Support to the delivery of the International Recruitment Programme for the Independent Care Sector.
  • Reporting on recruitment and retention activities project activities and progress against delivery plans.
  • Provide comprehensive Support across multiple work streams for Care Sector Workforce Development.
  • Facilitate engagement activities as required in relation to the delivery of the Care Sector Workforce Development, proactively following up where appropriate. This may require obtaining and interpreting information, some of which can be complex, to support agenda items.
  • Provide support in the writing and finalising of papers, briefs and correspondence with internal and external personnel and stakeholders.
  • Continually strive to support the CBC Social Care programme’s priority to deliver business / project / function outcomes, ensuring value for money and greater efficiency. ?Lead on specific areas of work within a project workstream or smaller projects with the support of the Head of Integration (Health and Adult Social Care) and HR Business Partner and wider team.
  • Act as a pivotal communication link between the project/programme team and other teams and external organisations. Ensure that all planned activities are co-ordinated effectively, requiring forward planning, attention to detail, lateral thinking, diplomacy and perseverance.
  • Support various wellbeing initiatives in the Social Care programme. ?Develop and maintain important relationships with key providers and partner organisations.
  • Use persuasion and negotiation to secure information in line with competing deadlines.
  • The post holder will require the ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment and have well developed multi-tasking skills.
  • Proactively forward plan and manage office systems and communicate effectively to coordinate a range of functions to support delivery of the Care Sector Workforce Development Programmes.
  • Provide cover for other team members during times of annual leave, sickness leave and to address business critical areas of work.
