Child Care Support Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Child Care Support Worker to work with 
Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Caerphilly East is a busy locality team consisting of team manager, senior practitioners and support workers. Staff are supported on informal basis and formal via supervision as well as peer support. 
The candidate must be flexible to work in the office and in the community.  They will need to attend the occasional visits that are outside borough.  

Key Responsibilities:

• A support worker in the child care locality team, supports children and their families to have safe and appropriate supervised family time in accordance with their individual care plans. Support workers assist qualified staff in terms of covering a duty rota, as well as assessing and supporting families who are eligible for Care and support. 

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: N/A
• Experience: 2+ years working within the same role. 
• Compliance: Up to date DBS.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 08:30am until 17:00pm
