Child Protection Contact Supervisor

Seven Resourcing is working with Solihull Council to recruit a contact supervisor for their children’s services.
£14.71 per hour PAYE.
Initial 3 month contract.

Job Purpose:
We are an established cared for children’s team and require further support with the supervision of family time for the children we are responsible for.
Duties:
We are looking for someone to transport children to and/or from their school or home, to supervised family time, which takes place either in the community or at Willow House, Chelmsley Wood.
Your duties will include completing a detailed recording of the observations you made during these sessions, liaising with social workers and escalating concern as required.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications:
- You will hold a relevant NVQ 2 / Level 2 Diploma for working with Children and Young People, or equivalent experience in working with children.
Experience: § Experience of working with children/ young people or their families in a social care, educational or voluntary setting.
§ Knowledge and an understanding of child development and the needs of children
§ The ability to write clear and concise observations and reports on work undertaken
§ Access to a car for work purposes, to transport children and young people to and from family time frequently.
Compliance: Up to datePassport, 5 years’ references and DBS.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
