Childcare Worker

Seven Social Care are looking for a Temporary Childcare Worker to work in Barry, Vale Of Glamorgan for initially a 6 month contract.  The contract  is for 35 hours per week. 

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Childcare Worker to provide high quality childcare services to children aged 2-3 years in the areas of Barry. Your main role will be to work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the needs of the children are fully met. You will be required to work on a 1:1 bsis with children with varying needs. The Childcare worker will need to complete observations  and feedback to parents and professionals. 

Key Responsibilities:

To liaise with parents around the child’s care plan and wellbeing.

To co-operate in planning, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the project in undertaking its tasks and contributing to the achievement of the group’s overall aims

Work within the CIW standards for Regulated Childcare

 Participate in the planning and implementation of activities to enhance children’s development

Maintain a flexible approach to work – understanding the need to work from a variety of childcare/crèche settings when the need arises.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare

Experience: 2+ years working with children in a similar role.

Compliance: Up to date DBS.

Travel: N/A

Hours: 35 hours p/w.
