Childcare Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Childcare Worker to work as an agency worker in Plymouth. 

Cover will not be needed on 29th May as it is half term.

Creche worker for creche at Plymouth children’s centre.

Level 2 qualification in Early Years or relevant qualification DBS Experience working in an Early Years setting – 1 year+ Ability to fill out time sheets

Rate of pay Per Hour £13.80 UMRELLA 

Provide support to children, young people and families through direct interventions which enable positive and agreed outcomes to be achieved, in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you’ll be responsible and accountable for:

• Providing individually or as part of a team, high quality practical care, activities and experiences to children, young people and families, as advised and in line with agreed plans.
• Undertaking home or site visits and meetings as advised
• Maintaining effective working relationships and channels of communications with colleagues and with children, young people and families and where necessary to encourage, participate and promote involvement to achieve positive outcomes. Delivering or supporting appropriate interventions to children, young people or families on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting, with appropriate direction and participation.
• Being alert and ready to take action protect and safeguard child and to inform appropriate line managers of concerns consistent with safeguarding policies and procedures.
