Children’s Service Manager

Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for a Permanent Childrens Service Manager to start a new role in Bolton for one of our clients.

You will act as the nominated individual and/or registered manager for the service in line with Ofsted requirements. You will manage two houses in Bolton, where the service users are children transitioning out of care.

This role is paying £32,000 to £35,000 a year dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

To ensure that the staffing requirements of each of Access to Care service are satisfactory and fit for purpose including monitoring that staff rotas are adequate, and absences are covered.

To ensure that financial reports are submitted in a timely manner including staff payroll information and wider budgetary requirements.

To ensure the quality of the services provided are maintained and in line with Ofsted requirements, ensuring a minimum of a ‘Good’ rating at all times.

On Call Responsibilities

Applicant Requirements:

Experience:  A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management position and experience of working as an operational manager within an OFSTED registered service

Qualifications:  A relevant qualification equivalent to NVQ3 in Children’s and/or Young People Health & social care, learning disability, mental health challenges or physical disability.

Compliance:  Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK

Hours:  37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri but some flexibility required

Travel: Full UK driving license
