Cin-Cp Unit Co-Ordinator

Seven Social Care is looking for an experienced and dedicated Interim Cin-Cp Unit Co-Ordinator to join our client’s team based in Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Child in Need – Child Protection (Cin-Cp) Unit, ensuring effective delivery of services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth running of the Cin-Cp Unit by providing leadership and direction to staff, as well as supporting their development and training needs.

Manage and allocate workload within the team, ensuring that all cases are managed effectively and efficiently.

Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure that children and families receive appropriate support and services.

Ensure that all cases are managed in line with relevant legislation and statutory requirements, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including service users, carers, and partner agencies.

Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff and provide ongoing support and supervision to the team.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Experience supporting Children’s Social Care services, or equivalent (preferably in a local government setting)

Compliance: Up to date enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to work in the UK.

Hours: 37 hours a week Monday to Friday
