Job Title: Cleaners (General)

Location: Durham, various locations

Pay: £10.79-£13.57 (PAYE/Umbrella)

Numerous positions required 

Seven Resourcing are looking for several cleaners to join Durham Council in various locations, working a variety of hours with multiple options available.

The locations are Crook, Newton Aycliffe, Durham City x 2, Hardwick Park and Spennymoor.

There are various part time options ranging from 6 hours every Sunday, Monday to Friday morning shifts and Monday to Friday afternoon shifts. Some weekend shifts may be required. 

Accountabilities: 

Ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner following the provided schedules.

Cleaning tasks include dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, vacuuming and carpet cleaning, washing windows, removing trash, etc.

Inspection and documentation of damage in any areas prior to cleaning.

Restock cleaning and sanitization supplies as needed.

Maintenance of cleaning tools and equipment.

Adhering to health and safety regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.

Knowledge and Experience:

Cleaning experience required.

Good knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning materials/equipment safely and efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Strong time management skill
