Cleaning Operative

Seven Social Care is looking for a Cleansing Operative to fill an exclusive opportunity in south Gloucestershire.

We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £13.67 per hour.

The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 37 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

Under the day-to-day supervision of a Streetcare Supervisor, the post holder is responsible for carrying out cleaning at the councils Page Park facilities, either individually or as part of a team, following Streetcare’s prepared schedules and to agreed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

To carry out all cleaning using materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner, following procedures set out by Streetcare and general health and safety guidelines.

To be aware of Streetcare’s agreed quality standards and work to fulfil them, making the Streetcare Supervisor aware of any barriers to meeting these standards (for example where equipment is faulty or there are insufficient materials).

To report any cleaning equipment breakdowns, or any possible hazards in the workplace, to the Streetcare Supervisor.

To complete any documentation required by Streetcare.

To take part in induction and other training or development as required for the role.

To communicate with customers in a polite and friendly manner.
