Commissioning Team Manager

Seven Resourcing are looking for Commissioning Team Manager to work with North Somerset Council

Office based  BS231UJ Weston Super Mare

37 Hours Per Week

Pay £25 – £35 Per hour

Hybrid Working – Minimum 3 Days a week in office

The Job-

Commission children’s placements from a variety of providers within contractual placement procedures, ensuring that children are appropriately matched to placements for their needs and in compliance with the relevant legislation and guidance.

Be involved in direct service delivery especially for the more complex placements and the development of service improvements within an integrated service plan.

Ensure budgetary control over placements costs, challenging providers as appropriate over costs and invoices; and analyse trends to inform others when determining future commissioning strategies.

Contribute to the development of framework agreements for placements.

Manage contract compliance and the performance of providers, escalating unresolvable issues for remedial action by others to improve children’s stability of placement.

Undertake the management and development of others undertaking similar work to improve service standards and achieve service delivery.

Work in partnership with social workers and partner agencies to develop placement provision services.  Establish & maintain appropriate links between professionals and providers to encourage improved outcomes for the children.

Communicate effectively with providers, colleagues, and service users, both verbally and in writing through the appropriate use of case notes and other record keeping within information sharing protocols and record keeping policies.

Applicant Requirements-

Experience as a commissioning Team leader (Preferably within a Local Authority)
