Community Improvement Operative

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Community Improvement Operator to work on an interim basis with Neath Port Council for an initial period of 3 months.

37 Hours Per Week. 6AM – 2PM

£11.78 Per Hour (PAYE)

The Job-

Carry out general maintenance and cleaning tasks in public areas, including parks, streets, and community spaces. Perform routine inspections and identify areas that require attention or repair. Respond to service requests and issues reported by the public in a timely manner. Assist with the collection and disposal of litter and waste, ensuring areas are kept tidy. Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and improve service delivery. Report any significant issues or hazards to the supervisor for further action.

Applicant Requirements-

Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.

Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
