Corporate Accountant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Accountant to work in Newcastle. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £16.30 (PAYE) or £20.81 (umbrella) per hour.

This role would involve working Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. The role is office based. 

The role:

The postholder will be support the lead corporate accountant and liaise with business partners to ensure financial information flows into the central processes to ensure good financial control is maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the successful production of consolidated management accounting including:
• Budget setting
• Monthly reporting and budget monitoring
• Balance sheets
• Consolidation adjustments
• Support the budget setting process
• Treasury management and business case analysis

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Candidates should preferably be AAT qualified with minimum 2 years post qualification experience. 

Experience:  2+ years working within a similar role. 

Compliance:  Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references. 

Hours:  37 hours p/w.
