Criminal Justice Specialist Support Worker

Seven Resourcing are working with Accord Housing to recruit a Criminal Justice Floating Support Worker.

Temp – Perm opportunities available!

We are looking for a full time criminal justice floating support worker. You will visit clients in their homes, at Probation and in the community to support them to manage a tenancy and move away from a life of crime- covering Stoke and surrounding areas. Must have a car to travel. Mileage paid. Working hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. This position can be a temp to perm position. You will be based at home, the office is just a base in case required. You will have at least 1 day a week working from home to carry out admin created from support sessions.

Duties:

–    Ensure services are delivered in line with GreenSquareAccord’s values that also meet the quality and service standards

–    Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented at all times

–    Ensure complaints and compliments are welcomed, addressed appropriately and used proactively to instigate action plans for the continuous development of services within the scheme.

–    Promote and support opportunities for clients to be actively involved in the development and delivery of their services and actively responsible for ensuring a culture of client engagement 

–    Maintain high standards in client service delivery ensuring clients are treated with dignity, respect and courtesy at all times thereby ensuring high quality delivery of services.

–    Ensure effective collaborative working with all departments, stakeholders and referring agencies takes place to deliver key aspects of service performance; ensuring specific tasks such as support and risk planning.

–    Promote services and build positive working relationships with relevant support professionals and voluntary organisations 

–    Provide support, advice and advocacy to vulnerable clients and communicate this knowledge in a variety of ways.

–    Provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment to identify clients’ needs and provide client led support.

–    Calculate risk and implement safety procedures when engaging with clients in the community.
