CSW Social Worker

Seven Social Care are looking for an experienced and dedicated Certified Social Worker (CSW) to join our collaborative team in Southwark, UK. This rewarding position offers a competitive compensation rate and the chance to truly make a difference in lives of individuals, families, and communities.

Responsibilities:

1. Initiate, plan and manage support for individuals and families who are dealing with social, emotional, and environmental problems.

2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs and best course of care.

3. Develop, implement, and review service or care plans addressing client needs.

4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists and psychologists.

5. Facilitate various group therapy sessions when required.

6. Conduct regular meetings to monitor the progress of the patient and adjust the care plan as necessary.

7. Admit, guide, and counsel the client and their family throughout phases of their treatment.

8. Provide crisis intervention as needed.

9. Assist clients in accessing resources within the community.

10. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for legal actions.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Social Work or related field.

2. Valid and active registration as a CSW in the UK.

3. Proven experience as a Social Worker, ideally within a similar setting.

4. Deep understanding of social work principles, techniques and practices, and their application.

5. Excellent understanding of the relevant legal frameworks, including the Care Act.

6. Superior skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain client confidentiality.
