Customer Services Assistant/ Information Assistant

Seven Social Care is looking for a Customer Service Assistant/ Information Assistant to work with Conwy Borough Council.

OFFICE BASED IN COED PELLA

The role:

Must be bilingual – Welsh/English. Role will be primarily reception based but will require some call handling. This will be 9-5 Mon-Thurs, 9-4:45 Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• To be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Council’s main office, Coed Pella. To welcome each visitor or contractor and to follow appropriate signing in procedures whether manual or electronic, issuing of visitor passes when required.  Informing the appropriate service / meeting organiser of the visitor’s arrival.
• To handle a high volume of in-person enquiries and phone calls for CCBC services.
  Make decisions on a daily basis to inform customers about council support and assistance available, working within established guidelines prepared by individual services. , such as the Council’s Knowledge Hub. To ensure these resources are kept up-to-date, making amendments and updates where necessary.

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: A good level of general education, including a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent
• Experience: Working within the same or similar role within an HR Team
