Data Analyst

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Data Analyst to work in Oxfordshire County Council.

This position is initially for 6 months and pays from £16.63-£19.81 (PAYE) or £20.70-£24.66 (Umbrella)

The role:

You will support members of the public health team by analysing, sourcing, and compiling accurate and up to date information to provide an evidence base for evaluation of service, commissioning, service provision and management information. You will also provide statistical information and analysis to members of the public health team. Your Responsibility is for ensuring that all relevant county policies and procedures are adhered to, and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, compile and analyse data to produce and present evaluations and reports in compliance with council strategy and policy.
  • Support and encourage the delivery of the best quality records. Audit data quality of information reports.
  • Provide locally defined reports for planning and performance management to support teams including locality profiles, analysis, and mapping in order to plan services and measure their success.
  • Offer support and guidance to the public health team in an efficient and effective way on data related topics to ensure they can use and understand the information provided.
  • Prepare public health data, keeping published information up to date.
  • Liaise with key internal, external, and voluntary sector stakeholders.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience as a data analyst in the public sector.
  • Compliance: 3 years references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w. 5 days a week with flexible working hours
  • Extra: You will need to use you r own IT equipment and software.
