Deputy Strategic Partnership Manager

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Deputy strategic partnership manager to work within Oxfordshire County Council.
This position is a temporary Role for 11 months with the possibility to be extended and pays £28.91 – £30.59 (PAYE) or £35.99 – £38.08 (Umbrella) Per Hour.
The Role:
You will challenge current working practices and work across the county and district councils on a migration programme that will have considerable impact on the organisation – introducing innovative and effective solutions that will transform the delivery of services countywide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing programmes to achieve efficiency gains and effectiveness savings through the implementation of a balance of technology, leverage, and work redesign.
- Managing specific programmes or projects in line with the corporate plan in their entirety ensuring objectives and deadlines are met and are aligned with the functional change agendas.
- Challenging current working practices and influencing the pace and take up of a continuous improvement culture, operational process benchmarking across the Directorate.
- Ensuring that all relevant County policies and procedures are adhered to, and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies.
- Create, manage, and deliver key strategic programmes and projects enabling the business strategy.
- Provide strategic support to Senior Management on programme management and to work with the Strategy & Partnership Manager to define transformation projects, identifying the critical success factors, requirements, and financial benefits, identifying the critical success factors, requirements, and financial benefits (and costs).
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree/equivalent level qualification relevant to the role.
Experience: 3 years’ experience. Excellent project manager experience/strong strategic awareness
Compliance: 3 years references. Enhanced DBS
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
