Digital Marketing Officer

Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Officer to work within Nottinghamshire County Council. This is a full time hybrid role, paying £19 p/h. A full UK driving licensee is required for the role. 

PURPOSE OF THE POST

To plan, deliver and evaluate marketing activity across a range of services and campaigns to meet agreed objectives, with a focus on digital marketing

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Deliver effective marketing activity as directed; planning and delivering effective campaigns and business activity using timely marketing tactics to meet defined outcomes and customer needs, within agreed budgets.

Work within project teams on a range of activity using a number of marketing disciplines, including the production and distribution of promotional materials, using a range of digital, print and out of home advertising, maintenance of websites and social media streams and compiling e-marketing and direct mail.

Develop, implement, track, and optimise digital marketing campaigns including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and pay per click (PPC) to ensure digital growth.

Assist with the development and maintenance of websites, managing conversion rate optimisation, quality assurance and SEO reviews as necessary.

Assist with the management and development of digital channels and technology to engage key audiences, maximise reach and achieve objectives.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of strategy for paid-digital advertising, social media and content.

Develop marketing and digital marketing activity based on insight, data and a solid evidence base.

Develop good working relationships with services, politicians, relevant partners, external stakeholders and other opinion formers.

Evaluate marketing activity to understand if objectives have been achieved so that decisions can be made about changes in direction for existing or future activity.

Evaluate all digital marketing, measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment. Keep up to date with the latest developments in marketing and digital marketing.

Assess data and analysis to support decision making and reporting.

Advise on, maintain and develop analytics, intelligence and event tracking on digital platforms including Google Analytics, Tag manager, Search console, Looker studio and Meta Events Manager.
