Driver/Fitter

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Driver/Fitter to start a new role in Bolton. 

The Integrated Community Equipment Service is looking for a Driver/Fitter to join their busy team providing essential services across the borough to service users with the aim of maintaining their independence in their own homes.

You must be able to work rota’d hours which includes weekends and Bank Holidays and have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, together with the ability to work as part of a team and alone. You will be required to select stock and load Council vehicles safely and securely.

You will need to hold a full driving licence and undertake a driving assessment as part of the selection process.

This is a temporary position initially for 3 months.

Responsibilities:

To select items requested by the requisitions prior to delivery.

To safely load and secure all items for delivery/collection onto BMBC vehicles

To deliver and install specified adaptive equipment into service users’ homes and other establishments in accordance with manufactures guidance.

To collect equipment when no longer required.

To maintain all records associated with the work according to departmental procedures.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Experience within a similar role

Qualifications: Certificate in Portable Appliance Testing

Compliance: Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 37 hours a week

Travel: Full UK Driving License
