Ealy Help Coordinator

Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for an Early Help Coordinator to start a new role in Bolton. 

This role will provide operational leadership within the Targeted Early Help Service. This role will lead and develop the service, working to strengthen and embed Early Help processes and establishing effective working relationships with partners. The role involves oversight of the Early Help Access Point. The role will directly manage staff and ensure effective allocation of resource to meet demand, ensuring the service performance targets are being met and quality assurance and audit is undertaken.

This is initially a temporary contract for 5 months with the view of extending.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the Early Help Access Point that helps drive a partnership approach to addressing the needs of children, young people and families in Bolton earlier and assists in demand reduction and escalation of need.

To work within the broader Integrated Front Door to support referrals that require targeted early help and efficiently navigate these cases through the early help pathways to ensure children, young people and families receive the right level of support in a timely manner. 

Develop effective working relationships with partners as part of an integrated working response to facilitate an effective offer of early help services to children, young people and families, including supporting step downs.  To build professional competency and confidence in the lead professional role and support partners confidence in managing need and risk across Level 2 on the Framework for Action

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Extensive operational experience of working with children, young people and families, in relation to delivering targeted interventions.

Qualifications: Degree in relevant subject area (for example, Childcare, NPQICL, Management, Health, Social Care, Childcare, Education or Youth and Community Work) or CQSW/DipSW/CSS and extensive experience of working with children, young people, and families.

Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 37 hours a week

Travel: Full UK driving license and own car
