Early Help Partnership Support Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for an Early Help Partnership Support Worker to start a new role in Bolton. This is initially a temporary post for 5 months with the possibility of placement extension.

The role:

You will support the Early Help Access Point by working with partners to promote and support their delivery of early help interventions to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. 

You will also support partners and practitioners with information on services available and how to navigate the early help pathways. 

Provide hands-on practical support relating to early help processes to demonstrate good practice and support development and confidence of practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

To work as part of an integrated team to support partners and practitioners to deliver early help interventions at the earliest opportunity, by providing hands on support where required and offering information, advice, and guidance to partners. 

To improve outcomes for children and young people by championing early help and providing threshold advice, practice support, advice, guidance and challenge to practitioners and agencies to effect culture change and embed Early Help processes. 

Promoting and supporting practitioners and partners to use the Early Help Assessment and Plan appropriately through provision of bespoke and personalised support to meet their needs. To challenge and influence partners where persistent referrals are received at the ‘Front Door’ that do not require a statutory service and support them to deliver early help interventions

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Knowledge and experience of delivering Early Help/Family Support services and an understanding of relevant Government and local guidance, legislation, and Ofsted Framework. 

Qualifications: Relevant level 4 qualification in Childcare, CQSW, NPQICL, Management, Health, Social Care, Childcare, Education or Youth and Community Work.

Compliance: Up to date enhanced DBS on the update service, Right to work in the UK.

Hours: 37 hours a week  9am-5pm.

Travel: Hold a Full UK driving license and have regular use of a car
