Supporting Families First is an innovative and multi-disciplinary team led by an experienced Group Manager, Clinical Lead, Advanced Social Work Practitioners, Outreach workers, Youth mentors, Family Support Workers, Money Mentors and Substance Misuse workers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that works collaboratively with young people, parents and extended family members, using the Signs of Safety practice model, to find out what works well within the family and use existing strengths to help families to find their own solutions.

Part of our team is the role of Emotional Health & Well-Being workers, who are supported and supervised by a Clinical Lead. Staff will also have the opportunity to participate in reflective group supervision to support you in the role.

Your primary role is to offer direct support to young people or adults using evidence-based skills such as CBT, Counselling, motivational interviewing, or solution focused with the aim of enhancing their emotional health and wellbeing.
