Exit Support Worker

Seven Social Care are currently looking for an Exit Support Worker to join our clients team in Bolton. This is an interim post initially for 3 – 6 months with potential for extension.

The role:

You will be part of the Complex Safeguarding Team to provide an efficient and effective service to children, young people and their families effected by exploitation (criminal / sexual). You will manage a case load, complete specialist exploitation assessments and risk reduction and support plans. You will deliver direct work to young people and their families You will have experience of delivering interventions to address concerns such as violence, offending, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, peer pressure, ACE’s and impact of trauma.

Responsibilities:

To provide a purposeful, professional service to young people in need and families, including assessment and appropriate intervention, to meet their needs in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.

To contribute to the planning and development of the Complex Safeguarding Team’s and the Department’s services to children and families affected by Exploitation, as required and as appropriate.

To participate in the organisation and administration of the work of the post to ensure the provision of service is completed.

To provide management information to assist in the setting, implementing and monitoring of the Department’s strategies and services.

 

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Relevant level 3 qualification e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Youth and Community Studies.

Experience: Experience of direct work with young people and families and knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.

Compliance: Current DBS check, right to work in the UK.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours : 37 hours a week Monday to Friday
