Family Information Service Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Family Information Service Officer at Northampton Borough Council paying £17.77 umbrella per hour

The role:

Hybrid (majority of activity can be done remotely but there will be a requirement to come into the officer and or attend provider events) – Kettering, Corby or Thraptson + WFH

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in the Family Information Service (FIS) or has a good understanding or worked in a similar workspace.

Requirements:

Good understanding of Excel/Spreadsheets

Knows how to research and find information.

IT skills

Accuracy

We are looking for a candidate to come and support the development of the digital platform and website where the family info will sit on, working closely to pull together information.

The Family Information Service (FIS) provides free impartial information, advice and assistance to parents, prospective parents, carers, children, young people, and other professionals on any services that may be of relevant to children and families in North Northamptonshire.

The post holder will work closely with the Local Offer Manager ensuring the FIS is aligned to the Local Offer and Best Start for Life, as part of the Family Hubs offering, providing an up to date and accurate impartial service to all children and families in North Northamptonshire.

Delivering a specialised service ensuring families and stakeholders are engaged with and enabled to make informed and effective use of the service and digital facility.
