Family Wellbeing Support Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Family Wellbeing support officer to fill an exclusive opportunity Brent Council.

 We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £22.03 per hour.

 The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 36 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

To provide administration and reception support to managers and front-line staff across the early help service and, along with practitioners, providing a welcoming first point of contact at the FWCs.

Database maintenance – access and update relevant databases and generate reports for management information in a timely and efficient manner; organise and maintain records and documents using the appropriate council process/system. Ensuring all new families’ details and contacts are registered.

Providing support to delivery partners to enable them to operate in a fully integrated way.

Key Responsibilities:

To greet visitors and provide a welcoming first point of contact, dealing confidently and constructively with enquiries in a helpful manner; to assist centre users with digital self-service points; to provide a positive customer facing service to families, young people, delivery partners and other agencies.

To deliver tailored and holistic support to assist vulnerable families who may not find it easy to access help through mainstream services or online facilities, identifying the need for additional support and assisting them in connecting with the help required in the centre; arranging referrals to appropriate agencies / providers (i.e. Citizen Advice, Law Centre, and JCP) and arranging services to provide a home visit when the right is support is not available on the day.

 Database maintenance – access and update relevant databases and generate reports for management information in a timely and efficient manner.

To be responsible for taking electronic payments from service users and providers and raise PO’s and invoices, as necessary.

To support all staff, partner agencies and all those delivering activities to collect attendance, record all contacts, and provide this information to the FWC Support Officer.

Requirements-

NVQ level 3

Valid driving licence

DBS (On the update service)
