Finance Systems Business Analyst

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Finance Systems Business Analyst to work in Cambridge County Council.

This position is initially for 6 months and pays from £450 – £550 Per day (outside IR35)

The role:

you will be undertaking a project to replace outdated and fragmented finance systems with a new cloud-based system. The new platform will enable improved efficiency, accuracy, and financial oversight across the councils. This work package requires a Business Analyst to work within the Shared Services Programme. The role is hybrid, with on-site working as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This project is to deliver a shared Finance system across Colchester City and Epping Forest District Councils to meet the desired business outcomes of the programme and project, by working with and bringing together stakeholders across these 2 organisations, as well as Braintree District Council.
  • The Business Analyst will be responsible for examining the personnel and operational systems across both organisations and the role will require them to work directly with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to ensure the realisation of benefits and outcomes are achieved.
  • Take an active role in the Project Team, championing customer-led processes that rely on automation/digitisation, which in turn enable swift customer journeys and service cost efficiencies and identify how the design can significantly improve the Customer journey, outcomes, satisfaction.
  • Design a sustainable support model for the future support of the delivered solutions across the Councils.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience as a business analyst
  • Compliance: 3 years references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
