Floating Support Worker

Seven Social Care are looking for a Temporary Floating Support Worker in London. The contract is initially for 3 months and the pay rate is £11.11.

The role:

Floating Support Worker needed to cover the Kensington area providing floating support for Young People aged 16-25 to help them secure their own accommodation or to prevent them losing their current accommodation.  The post is within a team but will require lone working in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• The delivery of individual, positive outcome focused support packages to clients of Riverside’s community based services.
•  Ensuring that the support service promotes empowerment and independence to clients within their own homes.
•  To be part of a staff team that is committed to ‘best practice’ in the social housing field.
• To travel and work within a defined geographical area.

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: N/A
• Experience: 2+ years working with vulnerable client groups in a housing or social care setting.
• Compliance: Up to date DBS.
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
