Gas Engineer

The role:

Seven are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Fitter to join our team specializing in kitchen and bathroom installations. In this role, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and appliances in residential and commercial kitchens and bathrooms. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas-powered equipment in these environments.

Key Responsibilities:

      Gas Line Installation: Install gas lines and connections for kitchen and bathroom appliances, including stoves, ovens, water heaters, and boilers, following all safety guidelines and regulations.

Appliance Installation: Expertly install, connect, and test gas appliances to ensure they function correctly and safely.

Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas equipment and pipelines, performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.

Compliance: Ensure all gas-related work complies with local, state, and national safety codes and regulations. Obtain necessary permits and inspections when required.

Safety First: always Prioritize safety, following safety protocols, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with gas lines and equipment.

Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, addressing their concerns, providing explanations of work performed, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of gas fittings, installations, and repairs. Complete job reports and document any safety or compliance issues.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including plumbers, electricians, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

Stay Informed: Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to gas fittings and appliances.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience:

       2+ years working within a similar role. 

Compliance:  CSCS Card and 2 years written references also Right to work documents

Travel:  Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours:  37.5 hours p/w. (Monday to Friday)

Pay: £16.68
