Gas Engineer

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Gas Engineer to work in Darlington. These positions are initially on a temporary basis paying £17.78 per hour.

Position:   Gas Engineer

Location:  Darlington

Pay Details: £17.78 per hour PAYE. Or £22.05 per hour Umbrella.

The role: To carry out work in the kitchen/bathroom rewrite team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation and maintenance work in accordance with job instructions/specifications, and all current legislation.

Ensure that a high standard of workmanship is maintained in accordance with the Quality Assurance system ISO 9002 and current works specification.

To work in conjunction with the department’s flexible shift patterns and to participate on the gas repairs call out system as and when required.

Understand and comply with Health & Safety legislation, practices, and procedures with regard to installing and maintaining electro-technical systems and equipment.

Understand and comply with environmental legislation working practices and principles of environmental technology systems.

Interpret and comply with drawings, schedules, and specifications.

Attend briefings when required for safety and policy issues.

Maintain all plant and equipment used in good order.

Be aware and comply with current legislative requirements relating to the construction workplace.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualification: Time served Gas/Plumber/Heating Engineer: City and Guilds or equivalent.

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

Compliance: CSCS Card and 2 years written references.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
