HGV Driver

Seven Social Care is looking for an HGV Driver to fill an exclusive opportunity With Southwark Council.

 We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £23.82 per hour.

 The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 36 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

To drive all vehicles specified by management (subject to licence entitlements) as required by Southwark Commercial Waste Services.

Key Responsibilities:

To report to the Business Services Manager or an officer delegated with the responsibility.

To ensure vehicles are road-worthy before, during and after each shift.

Carry out safety checks as detailed in the drivers’ logbooks.

Complete drivers’ logbooks fully and truthfully.

Report defects and accidents immediately.

Requirements-

2 years’ experience

Clean class 1 or 2 Vehicle licence

CPC Driving Qualification

Manual handling certificate
