Homeless Floating Support Worker

Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for several Floating Support Workers start a new role in Manchester. This is a full time contract initially for 3 – 6 months with the view of extending, paying £17.78 an hour.

About the role:

You will work with homeless applicants and will assess their needs and from that assessment match the cases to an appropriate move on scheme. Whether that be into supported accommodation, private rented tenancies, MCC in house accommodation or social housing through Manchester Move.

You will have experience of dealing with clients presenting with complex needs for example: clients with active or recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, clients who are past serious offenders, clients with active mental health conditions, clients with active physical health conditions. You will also have experience in dealing with safeguarding concerns and will take necessary steps to escalate concerns to management and adult safeguarding agencies.

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role
• Compliance: Enhanced Adults and Childrens DBS, Right to Work in the UK
• Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, office based 2 days a week, 1 duty shift per fortnight.
• Travel: Full UK driving license and access to a car
