Independent Review & Conference Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Independent Review & Conference Officer at Northamptonshire Childrens Trust

The role:

Independent oversight and quality assurance of child protection planning (including chairing of child protection conferences), ensuring that the child’s interests are promoted throughout. 

Monitoring the Trust’s performance with regard to child protection practice, identifying areas of poor practice and reporting deficits and recommending actions to senior managers, working with senior managers on remedial action where necessary. 

Hybrid: most meetings currently are held virtually. We are working towards increasing the number of Initial Child Protection Conferences which are held face to face – expecting maximum of 2 days per week face to face meetings from mid November
