IPS Employment Specialist

Seven Social Care is looking for a IPS Employment Specialist at Shropshire Council

The role:

The post holder reports directly to the Employment Manager, IPS who is in turn responsible for the post holders health and safety, training and development.

The post holder will work with customers and employees to help provide a high quality disability employment service in Shropshire.  This will involve:

Finding paid employment opportunities for jobseekers to ensure contract targets are met

To ensure work carried out is to a high standard and in accordance with local or national Supported Employment Quality Framework.

Building positive relationships with employing organisations and companies throughout Shropshire to generate new job vacancies

Marketing individual job seekers  to employers and companies throughout Shropshire.

Develop opportunities for Enable to market its services at business exhibitions and job fairs.

Negotiating new job start terms and arrangements on behalf of individual Enable jobseekers.

Undertake initial assessments of new clients as required.

Providing support to employers as required.

provision of advice and support to individual job seekers prior to and after paid or unpaid employment

provision of assessment of individual job seekers employment situation and their needs.

provision of advice on future employment and career options where they are not provided by other agencies.

ensuring performance targets and quality standards are met.
