Kitchen Assistant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Kitchen Assistant to work within Camden Council.

This position is a temporary Role for 1 month with the possibility to be extended and pays £15.02 to £18.57 Per hour.

The Role: .

To assist the cook in the flowing day to day kitchen tasks. To purchase, prepare, cook, and serve meals as required. To ensure that all meals served are balanced and taken into consideration to all ethnic, religious, and dietary needs of the clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support the cook in preparing the meals within the early years centre.
• To deliver drinks and meals to activity areas around the centre
• To wash Crockery, Cutlery, cooking utensils either by hand or in a dishwasher and clean kitchen appliances where appropriate.
• To when stocks of provisions need ordering and refer to cook so orders can be placed.
• To take reasonable care for the safety of all cleaning machines.
• To have day to day contact with clients of the establishment, being sensitive to their needs and reporting any concerns to senior officers.
• To provide cover for the cook in the event of an absence.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications.

Experience: 2 years’ experience

Compliance: 3 years references. Clean enhanced DBS

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
