Lead Corporate Accountant

Seven Resourcing are looking for a Lead Corporate Accountant to work in Newcastle. This position is initially for a period of 8 months and is paying £23.58 (PAYE) or £29.48 (umbrella) per hour.

This role would involve working Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. The role is office based. 

The role:

The postholder will be support the Assistant Director to manage the effective and efficient provision of financial accounting and reporting services for the YHN (Your Homes Newcastle) Group and its clients.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Year end closedown process, producing the consolidated statutory year end accounts, associated audit files ad audit liaison.

The coordination of the budget setting process

Leading management and financial accounting processes, including group consolidation and financial forecasting.

Compliance with the latest accounting standards through interpretation and application across the wider finance team

Timely and accurate VAT returns and companywide VAT compliance.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Candidates will be AAT qualified with minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role. 

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role. 

Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references. 

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
