Leisure Facilities & Contract Manager

Seven Social Care is looking for a Leisure Facilities & Contract Manager to fill an exclusive opportunity with Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

 

We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £29.94 per hour.

 

The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 36 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:

To provide efficient and effective management and supervision of the Linford Christie

Stadium/Outdoor Sports Centre and its operations.

To develop and promote the use of the stadium and its facilities.

To provide a high-quality service and be responsible for the care and maintenance of all aspects of the stadium, its facilities, grounds, and sports surfaces.

Provide oversite for the borough`s paddling pool/splash pad’s, ensuring they are effectively maintained, and that they are effectively managed through the council`s sports booking’s team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

To lead by example and assist in the delivery of a high-quality sports and leisure service, in-line with London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham’s visions.

To manage, supervise, instruct, and lead staff, volunteers, casual workers, agency, and contractors who are either directly or indirectly responsible to the post holder.

To develop staff and train them as required, to assist them in their work and personal development.

To appraise and performance manage all staff responsible to the postholder and assist in target setting, where necessary, and help them achieve those targets.

To plan, implement and manage duty rosters, to enable uninterrupted service delivery and to cover, where necessary, any areas of sickness and/or annual leave.

To be responsible for inducting new staff in health and safety, their roles, responsibilities, expectations and council procedures and processes.

Work with the council’s People and Talent service and act accordingly and operate its designated Human Resource System. (IBC)

To ensure that all payroll and personnel procedures are observed and help resolve any payroll or personnel issues responsible staff may have.
