Seven Social Care is looking for a Locum Mental Health Social Worker – Recovery & Wellbeing at Essex County Council paying  £240 per day Umbrella  Location:  Brentwood

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join mental health social work in our Partnership organisation that promotes the standards for Employers of Social Work and subscribe to the Department of Health’s Social Work for Better Mental Health programme, and the Think Ahead initiative. You will work at the forefront of our community mental health treatment teams providing EPUT’s secondary mental health services.

The successful candidate will work as a Social Worker in the community mental health treatment teams providing high quality assessment and intervention to service users experiencing a wide range of mental health problems, promoting recovery and independence, using Mental Health Care clusters to identify appropriate pathways and treatment plans with service users.

We are seeking enthusiastic and resourceful social workers who will have the ability to respond positively and creatively to the needs of our service users. You will play a key part in providing social care service and exemplar social work practice ensuring that excellence of service is provided across the department.

The post requires an individual with a high degree of flexibility and creativity and a positive, forward-thinking attitude, putting the needs and safety of our services users at the heart of everything we do.

The successful applicant will be predominantly office-based in the Brentwood Resource Centre (minimum 3 days per week) and will ideally be AMHP qualified with experience of working within an MDT and Mental Health team.

We are looking for candidates who can interview and start immediately.
