Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to work within North Yorkshire Council. This is a full time position, and we are paying £18.14 per hour for this role. 

 

The role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our Building Services & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
  • Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Monitor and control inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality standards for maintenance services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Address and resolve any deficiencies or issues promptly.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.

    Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role. 
  • Compliance: Current Standard DBS check. 
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
