Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to work within North Yorkshire Council. This is a full time position, and we are paying £18.14 per hour for this role.
The role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead our Building Services & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Monitor and control inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards for maintenance services.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Address and resolve any deficiencies or issues promptly.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Compliance: Current Standard DBS check.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours p/w.
