MASH Advanced Practitioner

Seven Social Care is looking for a MASH Advanced Practitioner at Lewisham Council

The role:

MASH Advanced Practitioner Hybrid working.

Office address is Laurence House.

Catford Bridge and Catford Station is 5 mins walk but there is also parking on-site which has to be pre-booked once in role To be a decision-maker and providing management instructions and being accountable for the work of colleagues.

To supervise social workers and MASH Contact officers. To provide advice, mentoring and modelling of good practice.

To support staff so they are able to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children.

To encourage commitment and practice in relation to inter agency working To lead in Training , Reflective Group Meetings and MASH Meetings Key Skills

– An ability to work in a fast -paced environment and prioritise.

– Daily allocation of MASH referrals, screening using the SOS Framework (discussions with the referrer, parents, and young person. Consideration for MASH Enquiries to inform Threshold.

– An ability to show good multi agency working.

– A good understanding of threshold

– An ability to use Tools to inform decision making.

– An ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills with complex and diverse range of needs.

– An ability to make decisions in a timely manner.

– Safety Planning
