MASH Social Worker

Seven Social Care is looking for an experienced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub Social Worker to join our team in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside other professionals in the hub to provide early identification and intervention for children and young people who are at risk of harm, neglect or abuse.

The rate of pay for this role is £35 P/H

Responsibilities:

– To participate in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub and contribute to the provision of accurate and timely assessments of children and young people who are at risk of harm, neglect or abuse.

– To work collaboratively with professionals in the hub to ensure effective communication and to share relevant information in order to make informed decisions about the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

– To provide timely and appropriate support and interventions to children and young people who are identified as being at risk of harm, neglect or abuse.

– To provide regular and detailed feedback to relevant agencies and colleagues on the outcomes of interventions and actions taken.

– To work within statutory and council procedures and guidance, including the Children Act 1989 and its subsequent amendments, as well as the council’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:

– Qualified Social Worker registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or SWE.

– Extensive experience in working with children and young people who are at risk of harm, neglect or abuse.

– Having sound knowledge of the legal frameworks, policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding children.

– Willingness to take up Flexible working arrangements when required.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
