Modern Day Slavery Advocate

Seven Social Care is looking for Modern Day Slavery Advocates to work across London t o provide high-quality frontline support to individuals who may have experienced trafficking and modern slavery. The role will involve providing outreach support to a caseload of outreach clients in London and the Home Counties.

This is an agency position which is on a rolling contract. This can result in a permanent role but please do not apply if you just want permanent.

Hybrid Working and Outreach Involved.

Hours: 39 per week, Mon – Fri 09:00 – 17:00

The Role:

To manage a case load ensuring each service user receives high quality support appropriate to their individual needs, providing information, advice, and support to potential victims of modern slavery.

Have regular contact with clients and travel around London for key work sessions and community outreach.

Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure access to ECAT* rights and help them navigate through the National Referral Mechanism (NRM)*.

Conduct risk assessments and review support plans on a regular basis with all service users.

To develop individual safety and support plans to meet individual needs of the service users.

Identify and assess any risks and put in place appropriate safeguarding measures in response to these risks.

To conduct regular key work sessions with each service user

Applicant Requirements:

Relevant training and knowledge.

Compliance: Up to date DBS.
