Neighbourhood Coordinator

Seven Social Care is looking for a Neighbourhood Coordinator at Hammersmith and Fulham

The role:

To provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day to day running of the neighbourhood service teams.

Oversee the complaints and members enquiry process for the Neighbourhood Services & Sheltered Accommodation teams.

Provide budget support to the Neighbourhood Services Team, and Sheltered Accommodation teams including being the lead officer for requesting purchases and processing invoices.

Lead officer for facilitating the Sheltered Housing Forum for residents, including agenda planning, minute taking and arranging attendance from key stakeholders including Councillors and any other meetings.

Co-ordinate the Sheltered Housing Forum, managing the forward plan, agenda approval and distribution processes. Minuting each meeting and ensuring actions are followed up and responses reported back to forum members. Preparation of relevant reports Working with and supporting Housing Management Project officer.

Oversee and co-ordinate Subject Access requests, Freedom of Information requests and Ombudsman enquiry responses.

Undertake administrative task that support the work of the operational teams, including coordinating training arrangements, producing monitoring and tracking spreadsheets and coordinating tasks that cut across all the service areas reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods

Co-ordinate and conduct H&S inspections and meetings with facilities contractors, recording outcomes and ensuring the housing office meets compliance regulations.

Ensure the area office and sheltered scheme offices are adequately resourced on a daily basis, kept clean, tidy and fully stocked on a daily basis and through its opening hours.

Manage the housing office supplies budget and control petty cash and ensure that ordering, invoicing and payments are dealt with promptly and in accordance with council policy.

Maintain effective and productive relationships with service colleagues, key internal and external stakeholders, and contractors to ensure the effective delivery of services.

Experience & Qualifications-

Significant relevant work experience in Housing Management services.

Housing management qualification is desirable.

Good understanding of Housing Legislations

Excellent understanding of what good customer service looks like and how to support others to deliver it.

Excellent understanding of the operation and structures of Neighbourhood Management services.

An understanding of performance management frameworks and working to SMART targets.

A good understanding of using Northgate, I case complaints management system, Microsoft applications (e.g., TEAMS, outlook, SharePoint)

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good coaching skills.

Good problem-solving skills

Excellent ICT skills

Ability to work flexibly and have an adaptable approach.
