No Recourse to Public Funds Social Worker

Seven Social Care is working with Sandwell Children’s Trust to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for their No Recourse to Public Funds Team.

The role is paid at MOU rates of up to £33.30 per hour

37 hours per week, with 2 days per week in the office minimum.

Details of the role are:

The Trust has an e xciting opportunit y for a Social Worker who is experienced in supporting families with No Recall to Public Funds

As a n NRPF Social Worker you will: –

      Work alongside teams within the Trust such as Assessment & Intervention , Child Protection & Court and Children in Care to respond swiftly whe n children and their families are identified to have NRPF needs.

Have experience of writing Human Right Assessment in a succinct manner, demonstrating highly attuned skills in gathering, assessing and analysing key information leading to evidenced-based recommendations for children and families, which is based upon relevant legislation

Work in an organised and planned way to ensure timescales set by the Trust and the Court are consistently met;

Work alongside agencies and support services who are specialised in supporting NRPF families, including the home office

About you: –

      You will need to have a recognised professional Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England;

Have completed your ASYE programme;

Be able to demonstrate experience of completing Human Rights Assessments

Have a good level of experience of working in a children and families setting and have managed a complex case load;

Have a sound knowledge of legislation and guidance around NRPF

Be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse information and make informed decisions;

An Enhanced DBS is required for this position and registration with Social Work England.
