North Kesteven FAST Social Worker

  • Salary: £35 - £35 per hour

Seven Social Care is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Assessment and Support Team Social Worker to join our team in Lincolnshire on a contract basis.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and their families within the local community.

The rate of pay is set at £35 P/H. Rates can be increased for experienced workers.

Responsibilities:

– Provide effective casework management for children and families to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service

– Undertake assessments and develop plans to safeguard children and young people from harm

– Work in partnership with colleagues in health, education, the police and other agencies to ensure that children receive a co-ordinated service

– Manage a complex caseload, prioritising needs and ensuring that appropriate action takes place in accordance with statutory and departmental policies and procedures

– Attend court and other legal proceedings as required, presenting evidence in a clear and concise manner

– Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure that your practice adheres to statutory requirements and to maintain your own professional development

Requirements:

– Degree or equivalent in Social Work

– HCPC registration

– Significant post-qualifying experience in child protection or family support services

– An in-depth understanding of the legal framework and professional responsibilities within the field

– Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

– The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

– Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
