Seven Social Care are recruiting 3 Occupational Therapists to work an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

Pay is £32 – £33.85 per hour via umbrella company.

Based in Sutton in Ashfield will be Hybrid Working.

Roles are in the MIS / MID Teams. Candidates will need to be able to offer flexibility across the North and South Teams if required.

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for the occupational therapy assessment of individual needs and the initiation and co ordination of a range of outcomes to meet them, promoting the principles of choice and control, personalisation and self directed support to ensure that service users can assess and manage their own needs, risks and uncertainties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Using strength based approach with a focus on promoting independence

Be responsible for the occupational therapy assessment, and then initiate and co ordinate a range of outcomes to meet them.

Be responsible for the identification of potential reablement opportunities and provide access to those services as required.

Provide professional detailed information, advice and support to service users and their carers.

These posts will initially be based within the Maximising Independence Service (MIS) Mid team which covers Mansfield & Ashfield where we have a high level of waiting work. Once volume has been reduced in the MIS Mid team, we would ask for some flexibility to support our other two teams (MIS North covering Newark & Bassetlaw, and MIS Sth covering Broxtowe, Gelding & Rushcliffe), but only if needed.

We have implemented hybrid working across Adult Social Care which means that staff mostly work from home but with some office attendance where it makes sense to do so. This may be to touch down at an office base between visits, or to attend a meeting. Equipment is provided for staff to work remotely.
