Seven Social Care are actively looking for a dedicated and proficient Occupational Therapist to join our health team. The candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to patients with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities to help them accomplish daily activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients’ issues and needs.

2. Create personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.

3. Assist patients in performing daily activities, such as eating, dressing, or using the bathroom.

4. Utilise therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility and manage pain.

5. Educate, advise, and support patients, their family members, and caregivers about treatment and progress.

6. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the rest of the healthcare team regarding the status and treatment of the patients.

7. Maintain thorough records of patients’ treatment and progress.

8. Comply with the rules and regulations of medical practice as per the local health authority.

9. Continuously learn and utilise current research findings in occupational therapy practices.

Qualifications:

1. BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy or related field.

2. Valid licence to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK.

3. Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist.

4. Excellent knowledge of principles and practices in occupational therapy.

5. Exceptional patient service skills and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

8. Up-to-date DBS check.

Work Hours:

The standard working week will constitute 37.5 hours, which may include weekends, on-call and public holidays as per roster.
