Seven Resourcing are currently seeking a Operations Manager to work within North Yorkshire Council. This is a full time position, and we are paying £21.26 per hour for this role. 

 

The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our Building Services & Maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of building maintenance services, managing a team of professionals, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall facility performance.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians, engineers, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize building services and maintenance processes.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects and tasks.
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to meet industry standards and guidelines.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.

    Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role. 
  • Compliance: Current Standard DBS check. 
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
