Payroll Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Payroll Officer to work with Conwy Borough Council.

The role:

To provide an efficient, cost effective and timely payroll service to the employees of the Authority and client organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that payroll information is complete, correct and duly authorised by the correct signatory.
  • Set up new employees on Trent Payroll system and check all documentation received.
  • Liaise with Managers and Organisations that Conwy County Borough Council provide Payroll Services to such as North Wales Fire and Rescue Services, Citizens Advice Bureau, Foundation School and others to maintain a good client relationship.
  • Implement changes to pay or contracts on the payroll system and query any anomalies (having an understanding of the terms and conditions).

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Educated NVQ Level 3 in Payroll, or have the equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Working within the same or similar role within an HR Team
