Personal Advisor

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Personal Advisor to work within Buckinghamshire.
This position is a temporary Role for 13 weeks with the possibility to be extended and pays £13.00 (PAYE) or £16.90 (Umbrella) Per hour.
 
The Role:
The leaving care team works with young people aged 18-25 who were previously in care. Following ongoing assessments, the team provides information, advice, guidance and support to enable young people to make a successful transition into adulthood.
To hold an allocated caseload. To signpost and support young people that are leaving care to access direct appropriate services according to departmental policies and procedures and statutory guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, organise or provide practical support to young people between the ages of 16 and 21 (25 where applicable) who are making the transition from care to adulthood.
  • Under supervision or the direction of senior staff, ascertain the needs, wishes and feelings the young people you are working with and ensure the voice of the young person is heard and understood in the context of their lived experience.
  • Participate in the operation of duty systems.
  • Liaise with colleagues and other agencies to support young people who will have a range of needs.
  • Monitor and report on the circumstances of young people.
  • Organise and maintain records and documents using the appropriate process/ system.
  • Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the Safeguarding requirements within your area of responsibility
  • Contribute to weekly team meetings.

Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: Degree/equivalent level qualification relevant to the role.
Experience: 3 years’ experience. Excellent project manager experience/Experience in the care industry.
Compliance: 3 years references. Fully enhanced DBS on the update service.
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently and have business insurance.
